L’Arboç is a town with a great cultural activity and with a program of parties and programmed events that has consolidated the municipality as a leader and reference in the country.

Its greatest exponent is the Fiesta Mayor, one of the most typical in Catalonia and declared a Heritage Festival of National Interest. This event includes the performance of all the folkloric associations of the town such as the Devils Dance, the Bastons Dance, giants, bestiary, pastorets, or Minyons (human castles). But the two moments most awaited by most are the castellera exhibition (human castles), and the traditional act of La Carretillada, when the Plaza Mayor in the dark hosts the spectacular orgy of fire starring the Devils.

L’Arboç also holds various fairs throughout the year. The consolidated and showy Modernist Fair, the thematic Craft Beer Fair, or the l’Enramada Show, dedicated to coca enramada, a typical gastronomic product of the Penedès. But the best-known fair is the Santa Lucía Fair, which is held on the Sunday closest to December 13, and is recognized as the only thematic fair dedicated to bobbin lace in Catalonia.
